Particle Drilling Technologies Hires Greg Galloway as Its New Vice President - Operations

HOUSTON, Feb. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Particle Drilling Technologies, Inc. ("PDTI" or "Company") (Nasdaq: PDRT) today announced that it has hired Greg G. Galloway as Vice President - Operations. In this capacity, Mr. Galloway will oversee all aspects of the company's operations with respect to the deployment of the Particle Impact Drilling ("PID") system. He will report to the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, Jim B. Terry.

Mr. Galloway has over 26 years of experience relevant to PDTI in the drilling and oilfield services industry. Most recently, he held the position of Global Product Line Manager for Weatherford International, where he focused on drilling hazard mitigation. Mr. Galloway is an innovative manager with a strong technical reputation in leading edge technologies and drilling performance enhancements. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to build highly skilled teams that achieve results and deliver significant drilling performance improvements by using new innovative products and services. He has a proven track record of accurately forecasting markets and achieving results in those markets. Mr. Galloway is a published author of numerous technical papers and magazine articles in the oilfield industry, particularly in the areas related to Drilling with Casing, Expandable Tubulars and Drilling Hazard Mitigation.

Prior to Weatherford, Mr. Galloway spent two years with Ryan Energy Technologies, Inc. ("Ryan") as Senior Technical Sales. In this capacity, he provided customers with an engineered approach to drilling directional wells with a focus on improving hole quality, enhancing drilling performance and reducing trouble time. While at Ryan, he participated in planning and drilling of some of the highest MRI(R) (Mechanical Risk Index(TM)) wells in the Gulf of Mexico achieving some of the highest footage per day of all wells drilled in the period. Prior to Ryan, Mr. Galloway spent 20 years with Baker Hughes Inc. ("Baker") in various operational and management level positions, including management roles surrounding Baker's Drilling Optimization service, where he hired and trained numerous drilling optimization engineers in both North and South America.
